Since being amazed by the beauty of the National Park a number of years ago, it has been our aim to enable the public to experience the unique perspective of seeing the canyon from under a canopy. We offer year round tandem skydiving experiences out of the Grand Canyon National Park airport.
Besides the obvious attractions of Skydiving itself, you also get to see possibly the most awe inspiring natural feature in the country, if not the world.
Its easy! You can walk in off the street, and as long as you are over 18 and in good physical shape, we can have you jumping out of a moving aircraft within the hour…
Bring all your friends, its more fun to do it together! We love groups, big and small and can cater to whatever size you bring us.
Paragon Skydive is a Group Member of United States Parachute Federation and abides by all standards set out by both the USPA and the FAA.
We have a comprehensive set of multi-level operating procedures. They have been assessed by the FAA and USPA and have been highly praised. The purpose is to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable experience at our Grand Canyon Location.
Paragon Skydive only hire qualified and very experienced staff. All our Tandem Instructors are USPA qualified with 1000’s of jumps experience and their professionalism will leave you at ease to enjoy the experience.
Paragon Skydive only use the safest and most modern parachuting equipment available. All Paragon Skydive equipment is inspected and replaced with new components well before the manufacturers recommended replacement schedule to ensure we only have the newest, safest and best equipment for our staff and customers.
The team at Paragon Skydive are very passionate about giving you the best, and most enjoyable experience possible. We will make sure you as excited as we are to make your Grand Canyon skydive one of the most amazing experiences that you will never forget.
Our Check-In, training and equipment facility is located in the Main Terminal of the Grand Canyon National Park Airport – just one mile from the National Park entrance. Free parking is available in the main airport parking lot for you and your friends!
Our friendly staff will ensure you are looked after from the minute you come in the door. Check-in is an easy process at our decked out front counter where you can go through all the skydive options, check out our merchandise and when you come back from your skydive you also get to view your freefall video on our big screens. Lots of seating and space is available and if possible we will escort your friends or family to our landing area to watch your entire experience! (Please note space is limited)
We use all brand new top of the line tandem equipment that are checked and maintained by our qualified packers and rigger on a daily basis. Each tandem rig has a main canopy and a reserve canopy, which is specially packed and checked by an FAA qualified rigger. The rigs also have an Automatic Activation Device, which will, in the case of an emergency, open the reserve canopy if required.
There’s no floppy onsies at Paragon Skydive! You will get decked out in our specially designed skydive jackets and pants which have been tested to protect you as you jump at 122 m/h or 195 km/h from a moving aircraft. Depending on the season – warmer layers, gloves and hats will be provided when required. Jumping out of a plane was never so stylish!

We are located at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon in the northwest corner of Arizona, close to Utah and Nevada. Our facility is located at the Grand Canyon National Park Airport in the town of Tusayan.
The airport serves as the primary hub of air transportation for the South Rim is spectacularly located to making it possible for Paragon Skydive to take you tandem skydiving with the Grand Canyon as the backdrop.
There is a free shuttle bus that runs from Grand Canyon village area to the town of Tusayan, click for timetables.
The drive to and along the Grand Canyon National Park offers beautiful landscapes as well as a of course the views from the road along the rim of the canyon. It is accessed easily from Las Vegas, Phoenix and California.

Skydiving at the Grand Canyon is a year round activity. With predominantly clear skies and light winds it makes the Grand Canyon an ideal place to skydive.
Each season shows a different aspect of the Grand Canyon. Crystal clear winter days show often snow-capped rims in winter and summer and fall sun brings out the amazing colours. No matter what time of year want are visiting the Grand Canyon you can be sure you are in for something special.
Temperatures are on the rise ranging between the low 50s and around 70 degrees Fahrenheit (10-20°C). Wear layers.
Summer at the South rim means you can skydive in a t-shirt with daily highs in the low 80s (25-30°C). Some thunderstorms and rain can occur but they generally do not last the whole day.
Fall is a great time to come skydiving in cooler temperatures. Summer rains diminish making way for clear skies with very few days of precipitation. Temperatures around this time range from the mid-20s to mid-70s, so make sure to pack some warm clothes.
December – February has lots of sunny clear days but with frosty temperatures ranging anywhere from the mid-40s down to the high teens (6-5°C). Layering is important. With amazing views of North rim almost constantly covered in snow, you can be assured an unforgettable experience.
